Terms of use

These terms are short on purpose. By creating an account you accept them.

1. What Alboria is

Alboria is the online service of our games: accounts, rooms with a code, invites and a relay. It is a non-profit fan project run by Carolina Molina Elvira ([email protected]).

2. Free and without ads

Using Alboria and playing online is free and always will be, in every game that uses it. We do not show advertising, and we do not sell or hand over anyone's data.

3. The separation between ports and money

• Games that are not ours (ports, such as Gears of War 3 on Azura) have nothing paid and never will: no subscriptions, no perks, no early access, no items, no special tags.
• Only our own games may sell things, always inside that game, under its own name, and never charging for online play.
• Donations are voluntary, pay for the servers and can only bring cosmetic thanks on the website, the forums or Discord. They never give access to anything.

4. Your account

Your account is your email. Keep it, and never share the codes we send you. Your gamertag may not insult, impersonate anyone or break the law; we may change one that does.

5. Your copy of the game

To play a port you need your own original copy of the game. Alboria does not distribute games or anyone else's content, and is not affiliated with the owners of the games it is used with.

6. Fair play

No harassment, cheating, attacks on the service or on other players, and no abuse of the service. We may remove from rooms and ban whoever does, and keep their accounts, devices, computers and connections from coming back with another account.

7. Other developers

Developers may use Alboria in games whose rights they hold, under an agreement with us that may have a cost for the developer. Their players never pay to play online, and these terms and our privacy notice apply to them too. Alboria is not offered to ports of games that are not ours.

8. No guarantees

We do our best for Alboria to work, but it may be down, change or close. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by its use or by its absence.

9. Leaving, and changes

You can delete your account at any time from the launcher. If these terms change in anything that matters, we will say so before it applies.

10. Law

These terms are governed by Spanish law, without taking away any protection the law of the country where you live gives you as a consumer.
